The pulse-pounding, senses-shattering conclusion to The Legend of Blar:

Heh. Tomorrow I’ll post up a snippet from the next Blar story.

Since yesterday, not one, not two, but three people have posted Blar fan art on their Livejournals. I am overwhelmingly flattered.

Eleanor and I went out to Juarez with J.P., Jacie, Joey, David, and Antar. (Yes, almost every person I know has a Livejournal now. Scary.) Eleanor got a spinach quesadilla which consisted of a normal quesadilla with about half a can of cooked spinach inside. She insisted she liked it, but I don’t know. I just had a burrito and taco.

You know, a year ago I didn’t much enjoy going out for even the most typical Mexican food, mostly because I was infamously picky about food – I’d been picky since I was in the single digits. I’ve made a concerted effort over the last year or so to get over this ridiculous mental block I have about food. All it takes is effort. It’s been a real revelation to go to all of these little foreign food restaurants around Savannah. A couple we’ve been to recently: The King & I (Thai,) Taste of India & Curry Corner (Indian.) A couple restaurants we plan to visit in the near future: Kim Chee (Korean) and Kao (Thai)
