Margo Maloo Chapter 2 – Ghost in the Post

on August 7, 2014

Dear reader, I see we’ve stumbled into the dusky realms of Chapter 2! And I see Thompson is bound to once again find himself entangled in the monstrous underbelly of Echo City. Let’s all sit back and see what trouble he encounters this time.

This month marks the release of an exciting book: How to Be Happy, by Eleanor Davis – who just so happens to be my wife. This short story collection, though decidedly NOT kid-friendly, is full of the beautiful, fluid art and deeply moving pieces that she’s been creating for the last few years. It’s an amazing book, and I couldn’t be more proud of her. I hope you consider giving it a look (assuming you are, of course, not a Kid.) It’s available at your finer local indie book and comic stores, directly from the publisher, and, if all else fails, on Amazon.

Hey y’all, next page will be up this Thursday.  That’ll be the last page of this chapter. Then there’s going to be a season break for the month of June. I’ll be back with Chapter 2 of the Creepy Casefiles of Margo Maloo starting in July!

Prints and more

Remember that painting I made a while back, for Papercutter? The painting with hundreds of reader-submitted cat portraits, swirling in a feline vortex? Staring back at you, into your very soul?

Millions Of Cats

Yeah, well, enough people requested a print of that image, that I’ve gone and added it to our Little House shop site. And it is HUGE. An almost poster-sized 13″ by 19.” So click over and order away – just don’t hold me responsible for any side effects. Eleanor’s got a nice new print as well, for the book store lady (or fella) in your life:

There’s some other original artwork by both her and me, including this vintage Blar pin-up.

I did the album cover art for Unwelcome Guests “Wavering,” which just dropped! You can listen to it here.

This is the second album cover I’ve done for Unwelcome Guests. Here’s the first.

Not cursed

You might have noticed that I’ve switched update schedules, to Tuesdays and Thursdays. Yes. Hopefully that should stick.

I’ve also been slowly putting back up some of my older comics over in the More Comics section. I’ve got the entire run of Wulf and Merl, the comic I did for Disney Adventures before they shut down. “Pup” is back up as well – a webcomic for the now-defunct Serializer.net. Neither my fault! I hope. Actually, some of those “Pup” comics have been down since the big Serializer crash. This one, for instance. I’ve got one more big one to post, too.

Hey! I guess they’re maybe using my cover for the fourth Adventure Time collection? I haven’t heard anything about it! Have you seen it in person?
