Changes of Address

on May 9, 2005

I’m in the midst of getting books ready to send off (and finishing up a little something extra to include in the really late ones,) so if there’s anybody out there who’s changed addresses, and hasn’t already emailed me, please do. If you’re one of these people, I’ve got your updated address:

Randy Carboni
Jon McElroy
Rick Boven
Steve (in Toronto)
Jason McPheron
Jeffrey Barker

The books are in!

on May 6, 2005

Just got the boxes today, and they look good!

I’ll be spending the rest of today packing up orders. The last 24 hours have been pretty good. We got our power fixed (it’s been mostly out for the last three days,) I got my computer working again (I thought it might have been fried in the power out,) and the books came in.

Sweet.

Book Status Report

on May 2, 2005

After a couple of emails, I finally got an ETA on the new shipment of Journal Comic collections. The guts have all been printed, and the book is hopefully going to binding tomorrow, and shipping on Wednesday.

I’ve got my fingers crossed!

Finis

on April 28, 2005

Well, that’s the end of that particular “Pup” strip. It’d make more sense if you read the beginning of the strip over at Serializer, but I think it’s still not back up from the crash yet.

…

You know, I hand-draw all of that shit. I don’t copy and paste any of those trees. Just sayin’.

Long Boxes

on April 26, 2005

I’ve been sorting through the 7 or so longboxes of comics I’ve had kicking around since high school, and weeding out the crappy ones. So far, I’ve pared three longboxes worth out, so that tells you what kind of taste I had in high school. I got in at the height of early 90s, Wizard Magazine-fueled comics “speculation,” which means I have a ton of Image and Valiant “hot” superhero titles, “valuable” variant covers and “first appearances”. I guess I’m going to try and sell most of these. I have no idea if anybody in the world wants these comics anymore, but we’ll find out. Man, if I had sold these things at their full “book price” back in the day, I probably could have bought a car.
