  • A few mornings moving dirt around at little organic-type farms a few miles out of town

Eleanor on Inkstuds

Eleanor did an interview with the comics radio show, Inkstuds!  Go listen to it if you’ve got an hour to kill.

I have been wanting to talk to Eleanor Davis for quite awhile. Her work spans from fun kids comics to really honest personal work. This interview was conducted before latest book The Secret Science Alliance was nominated for an Eisner. It’s a well deserved recognition of a very talented creator.

FLUKE 2010

I can’t believe I didn’t post about this before now – Athen’s minicomics/zine festival, Fluke is just around the corner. It’s happening at a new venue this year. C’mon out, if you’re in the area – it’s always a blast. And yes, there’s a bar.

Set to Sea pg. 71

The “Set to Sea” book won’t be out till July, but I’ve heard that it’s being solicited in the current issue of Previews – so go bother your local comic shop to order a copy for you! If you absolutely can’t get it from your friendly neighborhood comic shop, or local bookstore – here’s an Amazon preorder link. I do encourage the former two options, though.
