I finished my taxes. I think I came in a couple hundred dollars better than the accountant would’ve – god bless the Earned Income Credit and business deductions!
Here’s another panel of the yet-untitled, glacially-paced comic I’m doing in my spare time.
That’s probably the last thing I’ll post until Monday. Eleanor and I are driving up to Virginia to see my fambly.
Here’s some CDs we might be listening to on our way up:
Bonnie “Prince” Billy – I See a Darkness & Superwolf
David Bowie – Hunky Dory
The Arcade Fire – Funeral
Bob Dylan – The Freewheelin’ Bob Dylan
Also when I get back: Silly mustache pictures.
A tax question– do you worry about estimated income taxes during the year or do you just take care of it at the end of the year?
I think they supposedly penalize you, if you don’t send in 80% of last year’s tax in quarterly payments.
That being said, I’ve never bothered. Since this is the first year I’ve done my taxes on my own, I’ll get to find out first hand if they fine me anything!
DUDE. I couldn’t get EIC because you have to be 25. BOGUS!
This was the first year I did my taxes, too. And it sucked. Plus, they’re unconstitutional. Grrrrr.
