I’m typing this from the library, because my computer is back in the shop. It’s a Mac G4, and I’m pretty fond of it, but something goes wrong with it every six months or so. Last time my hard drive went kaput out of nowhere, and had to be replaced. Luckily I was mostly backed up.

This time around? We had a power out, and when the power came back on, the computer wouldn’t. The startup button lights up when you press it, but nothing happens. This has happened before, but last time, I took the computer’s battery out, put it back in, and it miraculously worked. This time, the computer repair people are telling me the problem is in the CD drive, and I need a new one.

Every time I have a computer problem, it requires expensive replacement parts.

Anyway, I should be back online by Monday, and will hopefully have some new comics to post then.
