Frequently Asked Questions
•What is Little House Comics? Who are you guys?
Little House Comics is the joint venture of Eleanor Davis and Drew Weing. We are a super-powered cartoonist couple who currently live in Athens, Georgia. Some of the items for sale are by Drew, some are by Eleanor, and some are by both! Eleanor can be reached at eleanor (at) doing-fine dot com, Drew can be reached at drew (at) drewweing dot com. If you want to send us letters or anything else, our regular mail address is:
Little House Comics
PO Box 1926
Athens, GA 30603-1926
•I don't have/want to use Paypal. Can I order things some other way?
We also take checks, money orders, or carefully-concealed cash. Just send us a list of the items you want, the address you want them sent to, and an email address we can reach you at, and make sure to include shipping costs - we have a handy chart here. Our address:
Little House Comics
PO Box 1926
Athens, GA 30603-1926
Please make checks out to "Drew Weing" or "Eleanor Davis."
It would probably be best to email us at shop (at) drewweing dot com beforehand and let us know your order is coming.
•How long will it take for my order to arrive? I need my order to get here FAST!
We try to charge as little as we possibly can for shipping - the shipping and handling only covers the price of the packaging and the postage. Almost all of our orders are sent out via the U.S. Postal Service, using the cheapest rate possible.
Within the U.S. -
If your order is pretty light (under 13oz,) we go with First Class, usually taking only a couple of days. If it's heavier, most of the time we use Media Mail, which is a special rate for books and other - you guessed it - media. This can take a week or two, (rarely, 3-4). Posters are also mailed First Class.
Outside of the U.S. - Usually we use"Economy (Surface) Post." This takes around 2-6 weeks.
If you need your order faster, email us at shop (at) drewweing dot com and we'll see what we can do. Please be aware that postage can get pretty expensive for fast orders - especially overseas!
•How much am I going to get charged for shipping?

•I got a package but it only had part of my order!
We often divide up large orders between a couple different packages, so it can get to you faster and in better shape. We try to write the number of packages you should expect in the upper left corner (by the return address.)
•My package got totally destroyed in the mail!
We try and pack up all our orders securely with stiff cardboard mailers, heavy mailing tubes and padded envelopes. But sometimes an irate postal worker or malevolent mail-processing machine will decide to shred a package, and nothing can stop it! If some of your books or posters got damaged, please let us know at shop (at) drewweing dot com and we'll try to make it right.
•I think my comic: has a missing page - has pages out of order - is missing a sticker - etc.
All of our comics are handmade and - even though we are very, very careful - sometimes mistakes happen! If you suspect that your comic has a "manufacturing flaw," please email us at shop (at) drewweing dot com and we'll work out a way to get you a correct copy.
•How do you make your stuff?
Most of the things for sale at Little House Comics were made by hand. All of the posters and a few of the minicomics covers are silkscreened right here at our house. The interiors are usually copied up at one of your standard copy shop chains. Then it's all stapled together with a saddle-stitch staplers. All of the items in the "Books" section were printed by professional-type printers, however. Here is a very handy reference guide to making all sorts of different comic books yourself!
•Do you have a mailing list?
We're trying to put one together. If you're interested, send an email to list (at) drewweing dot com, with ADD ME TO THE LIST in the subject line.
