Failure • Anthology
32 pages, black and white interior, full-color cover.

The whole Failure crew got stories together for this failure-themed anthology. Distressing to read, Drew's story is extremely evocative of the feeling of shame you get when you're too young to even be certain what you're ashamed about. The anthology also includes work by Rose Crowe, Antar Ellis, Jerry Stanford and Greg Vondruska.

Scheherazade • Anthology

Eleanor has a 7 page story in this anthology of comics by ladies, because she is a lady. Her story is not even about her privates at all, but looks like it is drawn by a crazy person and has been mentioned by The Village Voice and Time.com! The San Francisco Chronicle found it "gothic," which Drew thinks is amusing.

Scheherazade is edited by Megan Kelso and features work by Vanessa Davis, Lauren Weinstein, Sara Varon, Leela Corman, Ariel Schrag, Robyn Chapman and many others. It is a classy book, but a printing problem messed up a good third of it, leading Megan to disown it completely, and others to boycott the publisher. If you'd still like to buy it, it's available at Amazon.com and fine bookstores everywhere.

Megan's explanation of what went wrong with Scheherazade.

SPX 2004 • Anthology

Drew has a 4 page story in the most recent SPX Anthology. There's some pretty good stuff in this anthology, and Drew's story is great. It's well drawn, cleverly written, and even -dare I say it?- meaningful! Well worth the price for Drew's story alone! -Eleanor
