Set to Sea 84

The story so far...

Those guys can't stay out of trouble!

Our friend Devlin (manager of the world-famous Bizarro Wuxtry) probably drew better as a kid than you do right now, and he can prove it.

We've been listening to the audiobook version of John Hodgman's "The Areas of My Expertise." They were giving it away for free on iTunes a few months back - the first and only time I've used the iTunes store! - but it's taken us till now to actually get to it. Next we've got to actually get through Chomsky's "Hegemony or Survival," which was a disappointing download - we thought it would be read by Chomsky himself, but instead the reader sounds like a guy in a college debating society.

Sometime last week, the lease on the Failure website expired. I knew the renewal date was coming up soon, but it caught me by surprise - and now it's already in the hands of the domain-squatters. Ha, I'd like to see them try and find another party interested in actively associating comic books and the concept of failure. Ah well, It was bound to happen sooner or later - it's been pretty much inactive for a year or two. But I would have liked to archive a bunch of stuff before it went down.

Pour one out for failurecomics dot com, 2001-2007.
