The story so far...Hey, we've been hell of drinking some homemade beer around here! The first batch came out pretty good. It was just a simple pale ale, but we were fulling expecting a chunky foul-tasting soup to emerge from the bottles. Instead, it's pretty much a normal beer! Like, one you'd pay money for and everything! It's got a little too much of a bitter aftertaste - maybe not a problem for some people, but a little much for us. I'll work it out the next time I try that recipe. We've got another batch already in the bucket - supposedly a Kolsch-style - so we'll see what happens with that one.
