Set to Sea 66

Did you know that I'm one of the internet's most popular references for handlebar mustaches? It's true. Go to Google Image Search and type "handlebar." I'm the first result. "Handlebar mustache," and I'm #4. For a couple of weeks last year, our cat Detroit was somehow the most popular kitten in the Google Image Search. But now? Oh, fickle fame.

that's such an amazing feeling. from the last panel to this one... waiting to see your progress is like sitting on the edge of your chair watching an intense fight scene in a movie and pausing it right at the climax.. right before the hero comes back.. and then.. you get up and go about your day .. casually glancing at the movie and feeling that intensity and that lull of hopelessness.. that you really want the hero to fight back.. but it's paused.. and you're not sure what's going to happen and it's intense every time you look at it .. for a whole DAY ! or two days..

and it's such a HUGE relief! seeing the hero come back when you un-pause it the next day. it's really cool. damn that was a satisfying punch.

also.. heh!.. the pirates beard works as an impact explosion effect.

You're actually number two in handlebar mustache when I googled it.

Thanks, Pen! My friend Patrick Dean said something like "It's like watching Pirates of the Caribbean with somebody pausing it every five minutes," but I'm sure that he meant it the best way.

I wonder if google gives different results to different people? Cause it's still the same when I look at it!
