Set to Sea 28

The story so far...

Who saw this coming!?!

Eleanor and I've been pretty productive recently. I spent the morning researching ships and drawing the new Set to Sea panel, and Eleanor finished up a pitch for a kid's comic. Then we went off for pizza and a movie with Antar and David Yoder - that new black and white George Clooney movie. It was very pleasant, dry and slow-paced. Then we spent the evening working on Christmas cards.

Comments:

Hey Mr. Weing,

What's your inking tool of choice? I'm guessing you're using a pen for most of this (-could be wrong!-), but is there any brushwork going on here as well?

I'm brushing fat lines myself these days, but penning most of the skinny ones. Not that you asked. Or cared.

Hey Drew,

This is Kazu. Please send me an email so I can have your most current email address! :D Here's mine: kazu@boltcity.com

By the way, Set to Sea is looking beautiful...

I've been using the Hunt 102 crowquill almost exclusively these days.

Your work is just beautiful. I've really been enjoying it and I'm so happy you're updating. I look forward to seeing more!
