  But their blood or guts or vital juices stain your fingers a rusty brown. It doesn't come off with soap, it just has to wear off with time.

  The squash bugs (ironic) are the dumbest, they don't run away at all. Their fat little carapaces just explode when you squeeze them.

  At the farm, they don't use pesticides, so when you see some invasive bugs, you just have to grab them and squish them with your fingers.
